What do you do when your music teacher is found with kiddie porn?
The federal indictment says:
“William Harold Laursen, 55, of Kansas City, Mo., was charged in a six-count indictment returned under seal by a federal grand jury in Kansas City, Mo., on Sept. 23, 2008. Laursen is a music teacher at Kansas City Academy in Kansas City, Mo., and at CS-1 Junior High School in Prairie Village, Kan.
The federal indictment charges Laursen with five counts of receiving child pornography over the Internet from Jan. 10, 2007, to Jan. 18, 2008. Laursen is also charged with one count of possessing child pornography on Feb. 28, 2008.”
Well guess what, the Star is reporting that he now admits it all and has plead guilty.
“Today, Laursen admitted to receiving child pornography over the Internet five times between January 2007 and January 2008. He also admitted to possessing child pornography in February 2008.
Laursen faces a minimum sentence of five years and a maximum sentence of up to 110 years. He will be sentenced later after a pre-sentence investigation is completed.” – KC Star
